Focus and Scope
Aims
Journal of Information and Technology (J-Intech) publishes original research on the planning, development, management, security, and use of information technology and information systems in organisations and society. The journal aims to disseminate research findings that are useful to researchers, lecturers, students, and practitioners in Indonesia and internationally.

J-Intech accepts manuscripts in the following fields:

- Management Information Systems
- IT Project Management
- Distance Learning

- Information Security and IT Risk Management
- E-Business / E-Commerce
- Big Data Research
- Other related topics in information technology and information systems
Types of Manuscript
Original research articles, case studies that include an evaluation, and systematic literature reviews (see Type of Manuscript). Manuscripts are written in English and are reviewed by at least two reviewers through double-blind peer review (see Peer Review Process).
Manuscripts outside this scope, or that only describe the development of an application without evaluation, are declined at initial screening (see Initial Screening).
