Author Guidelines

1. General Requirements

Manuscripts must be original research articles written in English only and must not have been published or be under review elsewhere.
Manuscripts must be checked for plagiarism before submission and submitted exclusively through the OJS platform.
Authors must disclose any use of AI tools in the Declarations section. AI tools must not be listed as authors.

2. Manuscript Template

Authors must use the official J-INTECH manuscript template. The manuscript must use Letter-size paper, 1-inch margins, and Cambria font. The title should contain no more than 20 words. Manuscripts that do not follow the required template and structure may be returned to the authors before the review process.

3. Author Names and Affiliations

Provide the authors' full names without academic or professional titles.
Use superscript numbers to indicate institutional affiliations; these numbers do not indicate author order.
Provide the full institutional name, city, and country for each affiliation.
Identify the corresponding author with an asterisk (*).
All authors must be listed identically and completely in both the manuscript (title page) and the Contributors/Authors metadata in OJS at the time of submission. Authorship changes (addition, removal, or reordering) are only permitted before the manuscript enters the review process, through a written request from all authors (including the author being added or removed) to the Editor. Any attempt to add, remove, or reorder authors after the review process has begun will result in the manuscript being rejected.

4. Abstract and Keywords

Abstract: 200–300 words in a single paragraph, covering the background, objective, method, key findings, and conclusion. The abstract must not contain citations, tables, or figures.
Keywords: 3–5 keywords that represent the main topics of the article.

5. Article Structure

Introduction: Present the state of the art, identify the research gap and novelty explicitly, and state the research objective clearly.
Method: Provide sufficient detail to allow the research to be replicated. Include the Ethical Clearance number when human or animal subjects are involved.
Results and Discussion: Present the research findings and critically compare them with recent and relevant studies. The discussion should confirm, refute, or extend previous findings where appropriate.
Conclusion: Directly answer the research objective and clearly state the study's new contribution. The conclusion should be written as a narrative paragraph and should not contain citations.
Declarations: Include Author Contributions, Funding, Conflict of Interest, Data Availability, AI Usage, and Ethical Clearance, where applicable. For Author Contributions, specify each author's role using standard categories (e.g., Conceptualization, Methodology, Software, Validation, Formal Analysis, Investigation, Data Curation, Writing – Original Draft, Writing – Review & Editing, Supervision, Funding Acquisition), for example: "A.B.: Conceptualization, Methodology; C.D.: Data Curation, Writing – Original Draft."
References: Include at least 15 references, with at least 80% from primary sources and at least 80% published within the last 10 years. References must follow IEEE style. Avoid chained citations, such as citing a source indirectly through another source (e.g., “... in Sinta (2017)”).

6. Tables, Figures, and Equations

Tables, figures, and equations must be placed directly within the relevant section where they are first discussed. They must not be placed in a separate section or provided as back matter.

Table captions: placed above the table and centered.
Figure captions: placed below the figure.
Equations: numbered consecutively and aligned to the right, for example, (1).

7. Submission Checklist

Official J-INTECH template used.
Title contains no more than 20 words.
Author names and affiliations follow the required format.
Abstract and keywords are complete and meet the requirements.
Introduction clearly states the research gap, novelty, and objective.
Ethical Clearance is stated, when applicable.
Discussion critically compares the findings with relevant previous studies.
Conclusion directly answers the research objective and states the contribution.
All required Declarations are completed.
References meet the minimum 15-reference, 80% primary-source, and 80% recent-reference requirements and follow IEEE style.
Manuscript has been checked for plagiarism.
AI tool usage, if any, has been properly disclosed.
Tables, figures, and equations are embedded in the relevant sections and are not placed in a separate section.
