The Evolution of Apple's First and Latest Logos: From Traditional Illustration to Dynamic Identity

A logo is a crucial element in building a brand identity. More than just a visual symbol, a logo serves as a communication medium that reflects a company's values, vision, and personality to the public. As time goes by, logo design undergoes significant evolution, influenced by graphic design trends, technological developments, and changing consumer expectations. This study explores the impact of Apple's logo transformation on brand image, focusing on the phenomenon of logo changes to become simpler and more dynamic. The methods used include observation and analysis of the Apple logo, which has evolved following minimalist trends in design. The results of this study indicate strategic reasons for reversing logo evolution, such as the need to remain relevant in the digital era, strengthen visual appeal, and increase brand recognition. These findings are expected to provide insight for graphic designers and business people in understanding the importance of logo design adaptation to maintain brand competitiveness in an ever-evolving market.
