Digital-Based Work Environment to Improve the Performance of MSMES Employees in the City of Malang

Abstract

Rapid changes in technology have led businesses to embrace digitalization, one example of which is the use of digitalization in the workplace. A digital-based work environment is a trend used by MSMEs today. The purpose of this study is to analyze the extent to which a digital-based work environment can provide employee performance improvements in MSMEs in Malang City. The method used is descriptive analysis and SLR. The results show that a digital-based work environment is more effective in MSMEs in Malang City, especially food and beverage MSMEs. With a completely digital environment ranging from attendance, performance measurement to salaries, it can encourage better employee performance.
