However, this transformation has also increased exposure to cyber threats such as hacking, malware, phishing, ransomware, and data breaches. With the continuous rapid growth of volume and sophistication of cyber attacks, quick attempts are required to secure sensitive business and personal information, as well as to protect national security Cybersecurity plays a critical role in protecting digital information by ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data. This paper discusses the concept of cybersecurity, the importance of data protection, common cybercrimes, and the best practices for enhancing cybersecurity.
